I'm a director, writer, level designer and animator, looking for a decent programmer to help me in working with an action platformer, that has to do with parkour and free running.

Now the idea I had wasn't just run and jump. It did involve ledge grabbing, sliding under objects, vaulting over objects, stringing small moves together, possibly with a combination of keys, and a smooth camera with it's camera boundaries. (and some other stuff)

I've been working with 2D Animation since late 2007, and I've learned enough to hopefully be able to make some smooth animation. I CAN do fullbody, but the game idea I currently had was a simple stickfigure, with changeable hats and so-on..

Preferred language: As2, since I use Flash 8.
(Although I can upgrade to Cs4 or Cs5 if needed.)

Benefits in working with me --- I work diligently, I'm on often, I'm very dedicated to my work, and I'm looking to have fun in the projects I do. I like to get things done quickly, but there isn't any rush!

Downsides to working with me --- I tend to break things piece by piece in to how exactly I want the engine. I may suggest more than you can handle when it comes to code, just let me know if I do.

Profits would be determined by how much we make from the project. I was looking to put the .swf up for auction, and whichever sponsor bids the most, we could use them. So the revenue is based off of how hard we work on the project. I'll be sure to do my part, so long as you can do yours. Smiley

Estimated time I'd like to spend on this game would be around .. one to four months.. I say one month only because I had already set just about all the level blueprints up.. but I realize 90% of the time they usually will end up taking at least two months.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here. If you'd like to see the current sprites I've made for the project, just send a message. Thanks!!

Ah, just for show, here's a small flash intro I'm still working on for the UPK project.. Made it a few months ago and will continue once things are clear that this project is gonna be completed. Please excuse the sloppy text hype. http://www.fileize.com/view/f79701aa-58f/
